Our Partner:
Dr. Patterson, we had Circadian Inc. come in a few years ago and do an extensive fatigue study and sleep study here at Austin-Travis County EMS. It included field and communications staff wearing activity monitors 24/7 and keeping daily logs along with several other assessment tools. It resulted in us changing shift durations in our urban stations and in our Communications Center and changing our work schedules. We would be happy to share the complete assessment and outcome package if it would be of use to you.
